Prominent Academics: In its recent evaluation, The Times ranked Korea University as the leading private university overall in Korea and recognized the university's expansion of its competitive edge. The ISC offers a forum for prominent foreign scholars and students to engage in lively discussions in English.

Internship Experience: KU sponsors unique opportunities for international students to live and work in major corporate settings specific to Korea. The internship is normally a 4-week program which is completed before the summer courses commence. This overseas work experience allows students to experience a professional work environment, enhance their resume credentials and obtain recommendations for their careers.
Scholarships: An Academic Excellence award of KRW1,000,000 is given to students who attain the grade of at least A-¡®s in each of their three courses. Children and grandchildren of Korea University Alumni also receive KRW400,000.
U21 / (APRU) Fellowship Fund: Students from U21 and APRU member universities are eligible for either KRW200,000 or KRW400,000 fellowship fund from Korea University. This is a special fund designed to strengthen ties with U21 and APRU member students from all around the world.
Student Learning Center: Student Learning Center is a place where students can freely ask for help in improving their writing skills and become a better writer by one-on-one sessions with a writing tutor in the last two weeks of ISC. Whoever you are or whatever your experience is with writing, as long as you are part of our summer community, you can benefit from the writing lessons.
Vibrant Location and Dynamic Social Life: Seoul is a cosmopolitan center for financial, political, commercial, recreational and cultural affairs, and the KU campus is just 20 minutes away from downtown. You can experience clubs and social activities campus-wide and throughout the city.
Diversity: KU opened its doors to a truly global student body by offering ISC program to both international and Korean (domestic and foreign university educated) students, for the first time in a Korean university. In 2009, students from 222 institutions and 22 different countries participated. Students from Korea, USA, Canada, China, UK, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, New Zealand, Uzbekistan and so forth have participated since the creation of the ISC.
DongWon Leadership Hall: The newly-built Dongwon Global Leadership Hall consists of the Gender Equality Center and the Female Student¡¯s Hall that facilitates rooms for resting, studying, nursing, shower and exercise. There are also the Global Leadership Center and the International Cafe, both of which facilitates communication among KU and International students. The recently re-established Office of International Affairs is on the 3rd floor. This is where the ISC is administered and KU¡¯s active globalization program is carried out.
