Notices

Minimum/Maximum Registration

Each class is worth 3 credits, and students can take up to a maximum of three courses.

 

Changing Course Registration

Until the registration deadline: at Apply & Pay – View/Change Application Menu

After the registration deadline: Contact student support center or email isc@korea.ac.kr

It is the student's responsibility to make sure his/her registration is correct. Any failure to do so will be reflected on his/her final grade.

 

Preparing Course Materials

Students are responsible for textbooks and course readers for their registered courses. Please refer to the syllabus for detailed information or contact professors by email and prepare for the course materials before arrival. Textbooks for Korean Language courses are available at the Korea University bookstore.

 

About class hours and credits

International Summer Campus classes are given 3 credit per 48 hours of classes.

One hour in a class consists of 50 minutes of actual class time and 10 minutes of rest time.

So, 3-credit class consists of 2,400 total minutes of actual class time (48 hours x 50 minutes).

 

About Course Type
  • [Blended] The professors give lectures at Korea University in person and the lectures are also broadcasted online at the same time. Students can either take the classes face-to-face at Korea University or online at home.
    ※ Important ※ Students must choose their preferred class participation type (Online or In-person) in advance for Blended classes. Changing the class participation type during the course is not allowed.
  • [In-person] Students only take the classes face-to-face at Korea University.
  • [Online-only] Both the professors and the students give lectures and take classes virtually at home.
